Claritech was started in 2000 in Calgary by Dan Frederick. Dan has almost 30 years working in the technology industry from programming and systems management to IT consulting. He has his MBA from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and is a Professional Engineer. With his depth of experience you can be assured that, whatever your IT challenges, Dan can get the job done.

Dan Frederick
Dan has been working in IT for over thirty years. He has his Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Master's of Business Administration from the University of Calgary. Dan married Leanne in 1989 and has three children and two dogs. In his free time he likes to ski, travel and walk the dogs.
Katie Clarke
Katie Clarke has been with Claritech since May 2014. She has a SAIT Polytechnic diploma in Information Technology, majoring in Computer Systems. Katie’s background ranges from System Administration to Help Desk, and she has experience in dealing with everything from ransomware attacks to the more mundane and tedious tasks of protecting Claritech’s clients IT infrastructure. When Katie is not spending her time glued to her computer, she enjoys going to her family ranch and riding her old barrel racing horse.

Dave has over 20 years of experience in tech support, dating back before the days of BlackBerry (where he worked as as Senior Analyst for 5 years). His expertise spans disaster recovery, antivirus software, firewalls, and phone systems. Dave specializes in combating cybercrime with pre-emptive strategies, ensuring top-notch tech solutions that exceed expectations.
